TOMS shoes is an American footwear company based in Santa Monica, Ca. It was founded in 2006 by Blake Mycoskie. The company designs and sells lightweight shoes that are based on the Argentine Alpargata design. The design has been around for over 100 years in Alpargata and was used by farmers because of their comfortable features. TOMS offers styles and colors for men, women and children!
Perhaps the most amazing part of this company is its philanthropic values. This non-profit part is called Friends of TOMS. Their motto is "With every pair you purchase, TOMS will give a pair of new shoes to a child in need." How great is that?! Start shopping at toms.com! I know I am!

ReplyDeleteYOOOOO! Tom's are the flippin Beez Kneez!!!! I had no idea why people were raving so much about them. I have seen young girls come into my job and look for an outfit to wear with their new Tom's. Once I saw an entire family, mom, dad, and son all out in shopping bliss sporting their earth-toned Tom's. And lemme tell ya... TOO STINKIN' CUTE! I love the philanthropic aspect of the business, and I had no idea they were an American company. YAY! Loves it babee. Loves it. My dude even wants Tom's now! Team BABEE!!
